this afternoon after work my sister picked me up and we met mum at the cinema (my favourite one in adelaide) to see this. on valentine’s day i took mum to see ‘any questions for ben?’ seeing as my dad was away and wasn’t able to carry out valentine’s duties. always picking up his slack. it’s going to become ‘our thing’ whenever we can on a tuesday and i am super stoked about it.
this film was wonderful and i thought it was shot really, really well. i found myself just sitting there stunned looking at michelle williams and forgetting it was her and thinking it was actually marilyn. same as i do when i look through my book of photographs of her or when i see a photo of her generally, really.
if you’re thinking of seeing it, just go see it. i thought it was worth it..
